My Story

From lost to locked in — how fitness saved my life.

I was born in Toronto, Ontario, and by the age of three, my world had already split in two — my parents divorced, and I bounced between homes with a quiet, unsure spirit. I was a shy kid. But everything changed at five years old when I fell in love for the first time — not with a person, but with the game of hockey.

When I moved to Bowmanville, Ontario, hockey quickly became my identity. School? That was way down the priority list — maybe 10th on a good day. My focus was lacing up, hitting the ice, and having fun. As I grew, I climbed the ranks, known for my skill and physical presence on the ice. That hustle earned me a scholarship to Potsdam State University in New York — but truthfully, I still didn’t care much for academics.

I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life. And when my pro career ended abruptly — sent home after getting into a fight with a teammate during training camp — the wheels fell off.

Off the ice, my life was spiraling. Alcohol, partying, and self-sabotage became my default. I found myself working in the steelworkers union at Gerdau in Whitby, Ontario, just going through the motions, using alcohol to escape the quiet pain of feeling like I had missed my calling.

But there was always a fire in me. The athlete in me never died. I knew I was meant for more.

That’s when I took a leap — into entrepreneurship, into the world of fitness, into building something real. I became a personal trainer and a sales rep, and I started turning my pain into purpose.

Since then, I’ve lived and worked in Texas and Mexico, rebuilt my body, rebuilt my mindset, and completely cleaned up my life. At 36, currently the owner of a group fitness studio called Revlo Fitness Co. in down town Hamilton, Ontario and I’m in the best shape of my life — not just physically, but mentally and spiritually. Honestly, I still feel like a big kid — full of energy, passion, and drive.

Fitness didn’t just get me in shape — it saved my life. And now it’s my mission to pay that forward.

I help people build discipline in body, mind, and spirit so they can live in the body and mindset they’ve always wanted. Whether you're starting from scratch or getting back on track, I’ve been there — and I’m here to guide you out of it.

Let’s get to work.
